Before you can host a game, keep in mind that only teachers and educators are eligible to do so. To host a Blooket game, you must first sign up for an educator account. There are two types of Blooket accounts: one for students and one for teachers.
Ensure you register for an educator account before you begin hosting. Once you’ve signed up as a teacher, follow these steps to get started:
1. Visit Discover or My Sets:
Visit www.blooket.com and navigate to your dashboard. On the left sidebar, look for the “Discover” or “My Sets” option. Here, you can explore various sets of questions to use in your trivia game.
Sets are collections of questions that you can either create yourself or select from those already made by other teachers.
2. Choose the Set or Update It:
Next, finalize the question set you’ll use for your students. You can customize the questions to suit your needs and make them more engaging.
3. Select Host Option:
After preparing your question sets, click the “Host” button at the bottom of your set. Here, you can set the rules and time limits for your quiz.
4. Choose a Game Mode:
Blooket offers 12 different game modes for students. Educators can choose any mode they like to make the game enjoyable. After selecting your preferred game mode, click the “Host” button once more to start the game.
5. Set Rules and Time Limits:
As the host, set the rules and time limits for your gameplay, adjusting the difficulty to your preference. Once everything is set, you can start the game. The final step is to have your students join the game.
6. Invite Students or Kids:
